An SBS Special Event
Come join the SBS and “Raise a Glass for a Cause”, a warm and lively fundraiser supporting the Swiss Benevolent Society’s social services and scholarship programs.
We are gathering at the beautiful Lavaux Wine Bar in the West Village, where great wine and good company come together for an even better purpose.
Your presence helps strengthen programs that make a real difference for individuals and families in our community. It is a chance to enjoy an evening out while supporting meaningful work.
We will also hold a silent auction for two items to support our scholarship programs at the inaugural event on Wednesday, September 30th starting at 5:30 pm.

Swiss Alp freshness meets global NYC rhythms - Eliane Amherd Band at Pangea
Eliane Amherd is an international touring singer and guitarist from Switzerland based in NYC. 2026 has been an exciting year for this genre busting artist with a packed show at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in August, concerts in Japan, Peru, Switzerland and Egypt in Spring and an upcoming India tour in November.
Eliane performs her Retro Global Jazz in New York’s premiere clubs and in Festivals from Buenos Aires to Berlin, Bangkok to Beijing, and everywhere in between.

New York Swiss Gymnastic Society - Fall Outing 2026
When: Wednesday, September 23rd
Where: The Bear Mountain Inn, 99 Service Road, Tomkins Cove, NY 10986
Schedule:
- 2:30 p.m.: Meet by the entrance to the Inn
- 3:30-4:00 p.m.: Gather in the bar area for cocktails
- 5:00 p.m.: Proceed to the Dining Room of the 1915 Restaurant
Dinner and Beverages:
Each participant will pay individually for dinner. Beverages during the cocktail hour as well as beer and wine during dinner will be offered with the compliments of the NYSGS.
