August 1 - Swiss National Day Celebration
The SND will take place on Saturday, August 1st at The Hudson, located Uptown with a gorgeous view of the George Washington Bridge. Organized by the Consulate General, Swiss Society and SBS, we will have a great celebration! Here is a link where you can find the information and buy tickets:

August 2 - Otto & Edith Stierli
Otto and Edith are organizing a Swiss National Day Celebration on Sunday, August 2nd at Grace Hall in Ossining starting at 1 p.m.
It featured appetizers, main course, dessert, coffee, tea and soda as well as live music.
Children under 10 are free, children 10+ $25.00 and adults $40.00 per person.

August 6 - SBS August 1st Dinner
We will have our traditional August 1st Dinner at The Lavaux on Thursday, August 6th! The invite with all the details will be sent shortly.
August 16 - SBS / Swiss Society Jass Tournamen
The Swiss Society and Swiss Benevolent Society are seeking all experienced Jass players of the region for the friendly but competitive 2026 New York City Jass Tournament!
It will be held at The Lavaux on Sunday, August 16th with play starting at 10 a.m.
There will be a buffet with cheese and charcuterie available throughout the tournament. Wine and other beverages can be purchased from the regular menu.
The entry fee is $30.00

Martha’s Bakery is temporarily closed. So, we will meet at Paris Baguette located at 107-08 71 Avenue between Queens Blvd and Austin Street for coffee and cake.
Long Island
Thursday, July 16 at 2pm
We will meet in Garden City for coffee and desserts at the For Five Coffee Roasters, located at 147 Seventh Street instead. It is located across the street from our previous location.
Upper East Side
Wednesday, July 22 at 2pm
We will meet at Le Pain Quotidien at Third Avenue and 87th Street for coffee and cake.
New Jersey
Wednesday, August 5 at 1 pm
We meet at the Cheesecake Factory in the Mall at Riverside in Hackensack. For those who want to have your lunch, come at 1 p.m.
We will meet for coffee and cake at 2 p.m.
Upper West Side
Thursday, August 13 at 2pm
We will meet at the Viand Café Broadway and 75th Street for coffee and desserts.
Queens
Wednesday, August 19 at 2pm
