When can I submit the application for scholarship?
As of January, the new forms are available for download and you may send them in as soon as you have all the necessary supporting documents.

How can I determine if I have the most up-to-date forms?
All the forms always have the year that you applying for on the top, as well as the date they were last revised on the bottom. Only applications marked with the correct year will be accepted.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Yes, you may check more than one category.

When is the application cut off date?
The application has to be postmarked by March 31. 

Can I submit documents and supporting evidence after the deadline?
Yes, if we have received your application in time, you can send supporting material until the end of April. 

Do I have to send the last page of the form in even if I do not need to fill out that page? 
Yes, you and your parent or guardian must sign and date that page, returning it with your completed application and supporting documents.

I am a returning applicant. Do I need to submit all supporting documents again?
Yes, the SBS does not keep student records on file.

Do I request my institutions to send all official transcripts and letters of recommendation directly to the SBS?
Yes. Please ensure that all official transcripts and letters of recommendation (signed and on official letterhead paper) are sent to us directly.

How will I know if I have been granted the scholarship?
At the end of June all the applicants will be notified by mail.

Can my parents fill out the forms and follow up with the office for me?
No, we urge the students to fill out the forms themselves and expect all correspondence to come directly from the applicant. In rare occasions only will we accept communication directly with the parents.
