When can I submit the application for scholarship?
As of January, the new application forms are available for download and you may send them in as soon as you have all the required supporting documents.

How can I determine if I have the most up-to-date forms?
All the forms always have the year that you applying for on the top, as well as the date they were last revised on the bottom. Only applications marked with the correct year will be accepted.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Yes, you may check more than one category.

When is the application cut off date?
The application has to be submitted by March 31.

Can I submit documents and supporting evidence after the deadline?
Completed application forms must be submitted to the Scholarship Committee by March 31st.
Please check which scholarship-specific supporting documents must be sent together with the application form by March 31st and which supporting documents can be provided until April 30th.

I am a returning applicant. Do I need to submit all supporting documents again?
Yes, the SBS does not keep student records on file.

Do I request my institutions to send all official transcripts and letters of recommendation directly to the SBS?
If possible, request your institutions to email all official transcripts and letters of recommendation directly to the SBS. We do accept transcripts and letters of recommendation sent from applicants, however, they must be originals (no copies). In addition, letters of recommendation must be on official letterhead.

How will I know if I have been granted the scholarship?
At the end of June all the applicants will be notified by mail.

Can my parents fill out the forms and follow up with the office for me?
No, we urge the students to fill out the forms themselves and expect all correspondence to come directly from the applicant. In rare occasions only will we accept communication directly with the parents.
